Amy Sinclair travels to Hungary, Slovakia, Spain to raise awareness about the importance of ultrasounds


- American senator Amy Sinclair, along with the International Platform CitizenGO aims to raise awareness among both society and legislators in three countries about the importance for women in crisis-pregnancies of hearing the baby’s "heartbeat" before deciding upon abortion.

MADRID, OCTOBER 23RD, 2019.- The Iowa State (United States) Senator, a Republican, will tour Hungary, Slovakia, and Spain speaking at conferences, invited by the international platform CitizenGO

Sinclair has used her platform to work tirelessly for the pro-life cause. She's also the author of bills preventing taxpayers' money from going to abortion centers and has also backed the legislation that requires a 72-hours waiting period before an abortion procedure.  Sinclair was also a key sponsor of the 'Heartbeat Bill', that recognizes life from the moment a heartbeat can be heard. Without a doubt, Sinclair is a pro-life warrior and one of the key figures driving the pro-life legislation. 

Next October 24th Amy Sinclair will be in Hungary, at the Párbeszéd Háza Cultural Center, 16:00 hours, to speak at the conference "Heartbeat”, to discuss the consequences of the heartbeat Law in Hungary. The Heartbeat Law prohibits abortion after the sixth week, which is usually when the first foetal heartbeat can be heard. "Those bills change the perspective on abortion and the debate of defining human rights, thus the importance of Sinclair's conference in Hungary", said the CitizenGO Campaigns Director for Hungary, Eszter Schlitt.

After the approval of the heartbeat Law in Iowa on March 2018, many US states also introduced it, such as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wyoming.

"Our goal is to protect the lives of all people in Iowa, especially who are the most vulnerable and who are unable to stand up for themselves.", says Sinclair.

Then, on the 28th, the Senator will travel to Bratislava, Slovakia to speak at the conference titled "Heartbeat Law with American senator Amy Sinclair", which will start at 18:00 hours at the Hurbanovo námestie. The CitizenGO Campaigns director in Slovakia, Miriam Kuzárová, expects to "raise awareness on the Heartbeat Law in Slovakia", with Sinclair's conference. "Slovakia needs better protection of life, with the visit of Amy and through her experience, she can tell us about the Heartbeat laws as a way to protecting unborn babies".

Lastly,  October 30th and 31st, the Senator will travel to the Spanish Capital, Madrid, to continue raising awareness against abortion, teaming up with. the Pro-life platform Derecho a Vivir, a part of The Communications Director of, Teresa García-Noblejas, says "at and its platform Derecho a Vivir, we're excited to welcome senator Amy Sinclair in Spain so that she can explain to us how the abortion figures have dropped in Iowa. In Spain, we're ready to take advantage of the current political climate to reduce the number of abortions".
