OVER 3,000 PEOPLE ENDORSING
Ann Kioko: Are these ministries working with these NGO's who have been breaking the Kenyan law every other time? Is this why no one was arrested?”
NAIROBI, JULY 5TH.- The Campaigns Director of CitizenGO for Africa, Ann Kioko has delivered today over 3,300 signatures gathered by the Online Campaign, Reject "School Health Policy" promoting abortion and CSE in Kenya, in protest for the new School Health Policy issued by the Ministries of Education and Health in Kenya, promoting abortion and comprehensive sexual education among Kenyan teenagers.
The policy, Kioko accuses, “is being steered by CSA, the same people who have been caught before sneaking Comprehensive Sexuality Education to over 50 schools. They have also been promoting homosexuality in Kenya. Are these ministries working with these NGO's who have been breaking the Kenyan law every other time? Is this why no one was arrested?”.
The Comprehensive Sexuality Education programs seek to change society by changing sexual and gender norms and teaching youth to advocate for their sexual rights. The promoters of said programs, the NGO CSA, suffered significant backlash when CitizenGO denounced the program was being introduced without knowledge of the authorities earlier this year, but no arrests were made.
The petition addressed to ministers Sicily Kariuki and George Magoha states that it “does not seek to get solutions for teenagers in our country but to sexualize them and make them subscribers of among others abortion which is cleverly placed in the document.”
