CitizenGO reaches nine million of members and is consolidated as the main world profamily and pro-life platform

  • In its four years of existence, it has made it possible for people in different parts of the world to send 661 million emails to legislators and political and social leaders. Founded by the Spanish association HazteOir.org, it is financed exclusively by membership fees and contributions from individuals and does not receive public funds from any institution.

  • Ignacio Arsuaga: "CitizenGO has an increasingly influential role because it has grown in number of followers and especially because they feel that their voice is heard and their message has an impact. Its orange bus, which has already travelled eight countries on two continents, is just one example of how far we can go to defend freedom and fight against totalitarian ideologies."

MADRID, MARCH  06, 2018.- CitizenGO reaches nine million of members (9.002.946) and is consolidated as the main world profamily and pro-life platform. The international version of the Spanish association HazteOir.org, founded in 2013, promotes citizen participation in twelve languages (Spanish, German, Croatian, Slovak, French, Dutch, Hungarian, English, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian) and influences in fifty countries.

In its four years of existence, it has made it possible for people in different parts of the world to send 661 million emails to legislators and political and social leaders. Like HazteOir.org, it is financed exclusively by membership fees and contributions from individuals and does not receive public funds from any institution.

Its president, Ignacio Arsuaga, explains the trajectory of the platform in these terms: "CitizenGO is increasingly relevant because it has grown in number of followers and above all because they feel that their voice is heard and its message has impact. Its orange bus, which has travelled eight countries on two continents, is just one example of how far we can go to defend freedom and fight against totalitarian ideologies."

CitizenGO has experienced a tremendous growth in recent months as the number of members was of five million last June. Undoubtedly, #HOBus, also known as #ElBusDeLaLibertad, which has travelled through Spain, the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Germany and Italy so far, denouncing sexual indoctrination in classrooms, has contributed to the expansion of the platform.

CitizenGO Campaigns

Through CitizenGO citizens defendlife, family and freedom. To do so, they denounce the imposition of gender ideology in schools, fight against the abortionist legislation that eliminates the child before birth and oppose the LGTBI offensive that manipulates minors and deprives them of the right to have a father and a mother. Members of the international platform also promote the rights of believers and especially support Christians persecuted by the islamism in Asia and Africa.

"Today we are fighting cultural battles of global scope. A good part of the political class believes that they can decide what model of society and what legislation they want without taking into account the citizens opinion. And these find in CitizenGOits loudspeaker and an effective tool to participate in the decision making that until now was exclusive of those in power, concludes Ignacio Arsuaga.
